Phosphorous & Potassium Fertilizers | Complete Fertilizers | Medium & Low N Fertilizers
Simple Phosphorus and Potassium Fertilizers
Simple phosphorous and potassium fertilizers (Table above)
are salts of a positively (+) charged potassium and or negatively charged (-)
phosphate ions. Phosphates rocks tend to be insoluble. However, potassium
phosphate is very soluble and a good fertilizer. Phosphates are necessary for
flower and fruit development while potassium is vital for root growth.
