Bulk Compost

Desert soils have extremely low organic matter content, low microorganism content and tend to be "dead" with regard to microbes. The naturally low nitrogen content high pH, high calcium levels, low iron, micronutrient levels and low phosphorous availability make it difficult to many trees to grow well in desert soils. Trees often show signs of severe chlorosis. Good quality compost helps overcome these problems and improves soil structure, water retention and water infiltration. Severe problems with erosion on exposed slopes.

Plant Organix brand compost is the highest quality compost available in Arizona. It is prepared locally from high grade starting materials that is aged 4 months minimum. It is guaranteed low in salts, has high organic matter and high microbial diversity. No chemical additives, sewage sludge, trash or acids are used in processing.
