Olive Spraying

Artistic Arborist’s service department can do your olive spraying in the spring. This treatment is done to suppress olive fruit formation in late summer to fall. If you have olive trees you know how messy the fruit can be, staining side walks, patios and pool areas. The olive spray season is in the months of February and March. We use two different chemicals to control olives, Embark and Olive Stop. We DO NOT use Maintain CF which causes disfigurement of olive trees for years afterwards. Our tree care experts will use these chemicals at different stages of flower opening. Because olives form sequentially, based on times that the flowers open, it usually requires three different spraying times, space about 2 weeks apart. Please call in advance so that we can schedule you for the olive spraying season. Call for costs. The price will depend on the number of trees you have and their overall size.
