Is That Tree Going to Crash? Artistic Arborist’s consultation team has done a lot of work over the years in trying to determine the risk of keeping or removing a tree. Artistic Arborist is one of the industry leaders in tree hazard evaluation. Questions as to the suitability of a tree in a particular location, whether it is a hazard and what its potential targets might be (i.e, pedestrians, parked cars, buildings, etc.) are things that we can investigate before serious and expensive problems can arise. See our recent article on subject by Tim Johnson in the Oct 6, 2003 issue of National Underwriter, Vol. 107, #4, p. 24-26, www.NationalUnderwriter.com
When you hire Artistic Arborist to do this type of consultation we will perform a rating for the tree and target in question and what type of action can be taken. Should the tree be removed, should some of its limbs be removed, should the tree be cabled or braced, is the tree valuable enough to warrant these types of expenses? These are the kinds of questions we address. Artistic Arborist has an outstanding record and has provided these types of recommendations since 1978. Our services are sought by arborists and landscape professionals throughout the US. We often provide these for municipalities, developers, parks departments and homeowners. We all want to protect the environment and save trees that are beautiful, safe, and have historic or sentimental value. Tim A. Johnson, the founder of Artistic Arborist has been involved in arboriculture for over 30 years. Tim is a recognized industry leader in diagnostic consultation and has lectured on arboricultural topics around the world.
