Artistic Arborist’s service department corrects all fertilization problems with queen palms (see before and after above). Most of these problems are caused by micronutrient deficiencies such as manganese, iron and zinc. Occasionally the problem is due to lack of nitrogen, magnesium and potassium. Have our consultants look at your trees to be sure. We can do soil and tissue testing to verify the problem. BEWARE of others who may tell you the problem is caused by PALM BUD ROT. This is rarely seen, the last verified case was observed in the 1930's! Don't let others sell you a bill of goods, such as fungicides or Bordeaux mixture to treat your queen palms.
